Dear College Heights Secondary Parents / Guardians,
As you may have already heard, it was reported to us that a Sow Black Bear and two cubs were seen in the area near the school today. In School District No. 57 sightings of bear, moose, deer and cougars are among the many wildlife sightings in the fall and springtime of year although they can happen at any time. It is likely that the bear and cubs were just passing through the area.
